This is a fun shot of the wine bar storage! Yes, the employees are up and down that ladder probably more than they would like! I’m so thrilled how the lighting looks also in this picture! The light fixtures are simple, and the perfect “there but not there” kind of look we were going for. Each clear globe light looks as if they are just floating in the air, like champagne bubbles! The edison light bulbs provide the perfect ambient light for this environment!
In this small space, we had to go vertical with our storage! Up, up, up the ladder they go, to store hundreds of bottles until they are ready to be opened and enjoyed! Not only functional, these shelves work double duty providing a wall of art as they hold many different bottles and chalk board signs of each!
Welcome to Flight Wine Bar! This bar top consists of wine barrels that have been straightened by a process using steam! When the owners and I were discussing options for the bar top, and came across this, I said, this has to be it! Not only a perfect touch to this cozy and quaint wine bar, but a totally unique and interesting way to re -purpose and recycle at the same time! This was an expensive addition, but very worth the investment and character it provides any wine connoisseur!
